Elita: MOC Overview

I was holding off on displaying the MOC until I revealed her in my Jedder Chronicles. However, since that storyline is on hiatus for a long time (I have bigger plans for that), I don't have to worry about that being an issue. So now I can display my creations WHENEVER I WANT!

I don't remember why I originally wanted to build Elita. All I know is that I just wanted to build a cute little robot girl. (It was probably the silver Breeze head. I love that head way too much.) I didn't mean for her to be THIS little, but I was aiming for a slender build with sleek, simple, almost artistic charm rather than major detail. My attempts to pull that off failed several times, so much so that I gave up giving her real legs because I could make a foot design that fit her aesthetic. Maybe if I had more motivation, I could have pulled what I wanted off much better.

Regardless of what might have been, I love what Elita is now. Her base build is very simple, but I find it cute and I'm glad I could fit in enough details to emphasize her metallic, streamline theme. Also, when I came up with her character later, I found the small size was fitting for a robotic assistant, especially one who might need to go about a base quickly. I tried to stick with silver as much as possible, but I was eventually forced to use light gray. I think it blends in ok, but earlier on it was so noticeable that it made the color scheme look dull. Since Elita's "head core" was trans-green, I decided to implement that color further to liven her look up more.

In addition to being incredibly useful as a character, I wanted Elita to have a unique appearance with sort of an anime-cuteness vibe. I decided that hologram technology could pull that off better than metal would. Thus the trans-green was implemented. The green off the back of her head is supposed to be digital hair, and the wings are wings. Very cool wings that give Elita an impressive silhouette. Her fingertips are fiber optics, but I made them green too.
